Tuesday - Read for the first 15 minutes of class. Review reading questions from chapters 2-3. Chapter 4 reading questions in groups. Share out and discuss. Character chart work. Reading time - keep up with reading schedule! Movie, if time. End of chapter 4 due tomorrow. Wednesday/Thursday - Reading check on chapter 4. Quote identification worksheet with a partner. Share out. Continue with reading time and our reading schedule. Field any questions that the students may have. Catch up with movie. Friday - Chapter 5 due today. Reading check. Read the poem, "To a Mouse." The students will re-create the poem through a structured activity. Share out once completed. Continue with our reading and our watching of the movie. End of book due on Tuesday.
